Medication Aide
(Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care)
Our Medication Aide course is a North Carolina 24-hour Board-approved course and upon successful completion, individuals will be prepared to take the state competency exam to be listed on the NC Medication Aide Registry. This role, which requires an active CNA listing, allows individuals to administer medications in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities under RN supervision. Training includes legal/ethical aspects, the six rights of medication administration, infection control, and documentation.
Medication Technician
(Med Tech)
Our 15-hour Medication Technician (Med Tech) training is a DHSR-aligned Adult Care Medication Program designed to prepare stduents for North Carolina's state medication examination for adult care settings.
This program provides hands-on, instructor-led medication administration training that equips graduates with the knowledge and practical skills needed to safely and legally administer medications in assisted living facilities, family care homes, and adult care homes.



Requirements: High School diploma or GED; Current CNA Listing (Medication Aide)
